With some determination schools can access 100% funding for many renewable energy projects by combining different grant schemes. Alternatively, if you have capital to invest, from 1st April 2010 you can earn an income by generating electricity through the Feed in Tariff. And from April 2011 owners of renewable heating systems will be able to earn an income through the Renewable Heat Incentive.
You will not be eligible for the FIT or RHI if you have received a grant, so you should not assume both in your financial assessment, please contact us for more advice.
